Sassafras was perfect every step of the way for my husbands 40th birthday, from communicating to make the arrangements all the way to the wonderful music at the party. Most of our guests had little prior exposure to bluegrass, and all were impressed and asking how I found Sassafras. Our 4 year old son jumped on stage(our backyard deck) with them with his toy guitar and they were very welcoming and encouraging to him. I would not hesitate to hire them again or to recommend them to you, friends, family or anyone else looking for live music for an event! Review by Ximena M M. from Durham, NC on 6/30/2018

When I hired the Sassafras Bluegrass Band to play at my wife's birthday party, I didnít realize I was getting the best of the best. The Grand Ole Opry alumns graced our home as if they were old family friends. They were humble, unassuming, gracious, and professional. Their talent is apparent from the moment the first note is played. The guys played ambient music during dinner and then a full blown concert afterwards. They even served as accompaniment for me while I seranaded my wife and friends. They took requests, cleaned up, and left with several new fans. On top of everything, they drive 3 hours to get here. I simply cannot recommend them enough. Review by Jeremy K. from Knoxville, TN on 2/22/2019
